These folks (in all departments) produce more news than staffs twice their size, all because the understand the special calling we have in our respective communities.
Too many times we are quick to always point out the things that people do wrong, rather than celebrating what they do right. Well, these folks really do things right a very large percent of the time.
I am blessed to call them coworkers and friends.
Between our two newspapers, we won 12 first place LPA awards. While we don't do what we do to win awards, it is nice when hard work is recognized.
