Preparing for a storm

As Tropical Storm Isaac churns in the Gulf of Mexico, folks all over Louisiana (and other gulf states) and preparing for the worst, hoping it never arrives.

Even though Hurricane Katrina struck nearly seven years ago, its effects are still being felt.

With Isaac on the horizon, Louisiana is doing everything it can to not repeat the mistakes of Katrina.

When a storm comes into your life or business, it can have devastating and far-reaching consequences. Perhaps it was a downturn in the economy, or even mismanagement that caused the winds to blow and the waters to rise in your business.

Like the mistakes during Katrina, we should learn from bad decisions, and not repeat. While we may not be able to predict when the next storm is coming, we know that it is.

It's never a wasted effort to be prepared.

Until next time...
